I’m going to miss your bright light and positive spirit, dear friend. Going into work and walking past your office and knowing I will never get a hug again has been very difficult, to say the least. I’m holding on to the amazing example of embracing life that you have gifted us all with. The lessons of forgiveness and acceptance will stay with me forever.  

Princess Wendy brightened up the room with her lovely smile & personality.  She was "family" as our parents were friends long before children were born.  She was generous,  thoughtful, intelligent,  artistic, and full of loving kindness.  You are missed my dear, fly high with Jesus and our parents.  

I only recently met Wendy at an insurance meeting in October.  We sat together, exchanged business cards, and talked insurance.  I was so comfortable with her that I did business with her right away.  She had such an infectious smile!   I could tell she had a work ethic that was second to none.  She was so proud of her niece, Charisse,  working along side her.  Wendy is going to be deeply missed by all.  I'm lucky to have known her even for a short while.  Rest in peace, Wendy.

I was very shocked to learn of Wendy's death. The first obit in the OWH didn't have her picture and I thought it couldn't be the Wendy Salinas that I know, but I learned the truth yesterday. 

Wendy and I had an hour-long meeting in our building about a month ago. My impression of her is that she was a real firecracker and full of life.

I can tell you that Wendy was very, very proud of her family as I asked her that specific question. She gave me a detailed answer which I wrote down.

I met Wendy when she went through my mothers insurance benefits plan with Humana. She was so helpful, took every call and was such a treasure as we shared stories of taking care of our parents. I am so sorry for the families loss and for the loss of her as our agent and friend. When we retired and needed a plan she was our one and only call to see who and why she opened her own office.  Every time we needed her she was right there to help. So sad and so shocked.  Heaven has another angel and I have no doubt she has met mom and they had a good chuckle. Rest in Peace.  Cathie Adams

Years ago when I went to a Humana information meeting, I heard 
Wendy helping some of her clients.  She was being so helpful and caring that I immediately asked if she would be my agent.  She never treated me like a client but a good friend.  Loved when she came to my house and we would just visit.  Made me look forward to medicare enrollment in the fall cause I knew I would get to see Wendy.  And such reassurance to know I had someone to call when questions came up.  I always kept her business card displayed where I could see it in my home office. Just her smiling face made me feel better.  Wendy you always made sure I got the rewards my plan offered.  I know you are getting your very deserved rewards now.  Rest in Peace. 

Wendy was a very intelligent person who loved her job, she had helped my husband  and I through out the years. No matter what she always had a helpful smile to go with it.    I remember one Thanksgiving we connected over the phone, we were talking about our favorite food for Thanksgiving. Mine was mashed potatoes & gravy ,she mentioned that her's came out lumpy,so I told her how I made my homemade gravy, using the whisk as her magic tool !! To this day I remember what advice I gave her.  Wendy was a person who everyone would love, with her family & friends she adored.

My heart goes out to Wendy's family and friends.  I've known Wendy from afar for 15 years but recently got to know her on a much more personal level.  She sought to make connections and strengthen relationships.   Mission accomplished Wendy!  You are a bright light in the lives of so many.  God bless.

I've known Wendy for over 25 years. I will miss her laugh, her love of purple (like me-I even have two of her hand me down shirts Kim brought me back), her wonderful photography and so much more. I'm so glad she was able to come out to Las Vegas and I was able to see her after I moved here.  I still have a wonderful photo she took of our framily before I left town displayed in my office. I think of her every time I look at it. I know she's with her precious fur babies that were waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge. 

I have known Wendy for years through our church, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that we really became close!  She was the sweetest, most thoughtful person ! Always had a smile even if she was down , She asked me to go to Florida with her to celebrate her 50th birthday, what an honor!! I will cherish those memories and many, many more! I love you and miss you dearly!!!

My wife Jill and I were put in touch with Wendy 2 years ago when my wife was needing medical insurance.  Wendy came highly recommended from a good friend of ours and the moment we met her we knew we were in good hands. Wendy showed such empathy and professionalism in her work and she researched the best options available for us.  We met with Wendy again this year on Nov 8th and she was all smiles and great memories of her family and the upcoming holiday season. It's hard to imagine she's been taken from us and all of those who knew her. She was such a treasure and  will be deeply missed! She will be in our prayers, God rest her soul.

We just visited with Wendy for our annual review of medical insurance.   Over the years she greeted us like family each time in.   So sincere, shared her fullness of life, had more of an impact on people than I think she knew.   Thoughts and prayers to Wendy and her family.

I met Wendy at a time when I was overwhelmed with family needs for Medicare and supplemental insurances. She made sense out of a very complicated system .  To this day she reviewed all five of my family members needs annually.

I met Wendy after my husband died and I needed some insurance. She took me under her wing even though I was many years older. Her bright spirit and happy outlook would warm my heart. Rest In Peace sweet girl. 

Wendy was our Insurance Agent for several years, Our Hearts are saddened for her passing, She is such a wonderful lady, always bright and cheery, we just met with her this year for open enrollment, Our Prayers and Thoughts are with her Family and Friends, she will be so missed by many of us, Take Care And God Bless!

My husband and I had the joy of getting to know Wendy when we went on Medicare 8 years ago. She was working for Humana then and become our go to person whenever we had a question. She came into our home every year and was with us for over an hour. Once we finished with “business”, we would sit and talk, usually about families. We were going through some difficult times with my aunt and mother in law, and she was a wonderful source of information as she had gone through some of the same things with her dad. We will so miss her smile and beautiful laugh. She was more  than just our agent, she was our friend. Our prayers and sympathy go out to all her family and friends.  She will be sorely missed.

I have SO many memories of growing up with Wendy & her family, we were pretty much inseperable. We were part of each others family and I always felt like I was "sister # 6". Wendy & I even made it official by becoming blood sisters. I am so glad that she was part of my life, I loved her very much. My heart is broken & my chest aches with her loss, not just for myself, but for everyone whos' heart she touched. I know that she's at peace (& probably driving Sue & Max crazy by now). Wendy was the kind of person that brought fun and a smile to everything.  She was pure joy to be around.  I am grateful that I knew her.  Sending hugs and love to her family and friends.  She has a special place in heaven for sure.
