He was a wonderful father and husband. One of the Sons of Bogatz Grocery Store in Brown Park South Omaha. He graduated from South High and Alumni of Creighton University. Served in WWII and flew over the Burma Hump several times as a member of the Army Band playing Alto Saxophone. He worked many years at Offutt Airforce Base. He was married for 66 years to his beloved wife Betty. Husker fan and a lover of horse racing. He was loved and charished by all and we will miss him so. Preceded in death by wife, Betty. Survived by son, William (Peggy) Bogatz Jr.; daughter, Roxanne (John) Fleming; brother, Bernie (Eleanor) Bogatz; sister, Peggy Steinauer; grandchildren, Britten, Joey, Alex and Aaron.
