Alexa C. Forrest, 63, passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2013 after suffering from brain cancer. She was attended to by her long-time, loving friends Frank and Pam Klemm of Clinton, Maryland, and Helen and Wayne Hopler of Oneonta.
Alexa was the daughter of the late Mildred (Kobick) Forrest of Kornishka, Russia and former Oneonta Daily Star reporter, the late Francis E. Forrest (Forrest E. Blankenship) of Joplin, Missouri.
Alexa graduated from Oneonta Junior and Senior High Schools and attended the State University of New York in Oneonta.
Alexa is also survived by her son, Jon A. Cameron, Jr.; her granddaughter, Aubree; and her sister, Dr. Carla M. Forrest, PhD of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In her later years, Alexa followed suit as her investigative reporter father by chronicling and reporting on United States Government corruption, specifically in regard to extraterrestrial presence on Earth.
