He was born March 25, 1961 in Athens, Greece. Michael was adopted by his parents C. Edgar and Anne L. (Michaelis) Schwab shortly after moving to the United States.
Michael moved into the Morris IRA in 2012 and began attending Springbrook’s Oneonta Capstone Day Habilitation Program in September of that year.
Michael was a quiet gentleman who kept to himself and always paid special attention to his surroundings.
He enjoyed listening to music, taking rides, going out to eat, and getting ice cream. Michael also loved to be in the company of his peers and staff and sitting in his chair at the head of the table. Michael will be deeply missed by his friends, staff and all of his Springbrook family.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 3 PM in Temple Beth El Cemetery, Emmons, with Rabbi George Hirschfeld, officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required at the service.
