Carol A. Roberts

She was born September 6, 1958 in Oneonta the daughter of Walter and Louise (Martindale) Roberts.

Carol graduated from Oneonta High School the Class of 1978.

She began working for ARC at the Homer Folks Hospital in the production line. She then worked at Oneonta Nursing Home, Oneonta High School, Wendy’s and SUNY Oneonta in the kitchen.

She enjoyed listening to country music, cooking and spending time with family (she always looked forward to the family get-togethers). Carol was an animal lover.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Walter Keith Roberts and Louise Roberts Lake and step-father, Brownell Lake; grandparents, Homer and Margaret Martindale and Walter Roberts and Pearl Roberts Winslow; sister, Terry and Bill Cimko; and nephew, Walter Cimko.

She is survived by four sisters, Josephine (Dennis) Ouimet, Gail (Robert) Davis, Audrey Henderson and Tracy Hoffman (Jim Andrews); caregivers and nephews, Chris and Michael Ouimet; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 10:00-11:00AM. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in the

Otego Evergreen Cemetery.
