Charles William Zimmerman III

He was born November 17, 1955 in Oneonta the son of Charles William Zimmerman, Jr. and Janet Carole (Gray) Zimmerman.

Charlie married Victoria Estella Robinson on April 28, 1985 in Davenport.

For 25 years Charlie worked at Otsego Auto Crushers doing various jobs. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family.

He was an avid car enthusiast and would loved to go and watch the demolition derby’s. He was also a NASCAR fan and loved watching the races on tv.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Victoria Zimmerman; two sons, Charles W. “Bud” Zimmerman, IV (Mary Lou Bruns) and Alexander Zimmerman; two step children, Gweyn Brockway and Michael (Martha) VanBlarcom; eight grandchildren, Becca, Luke (Maria), Max (Felicity), Mason, Dimitri, Charliegh, Leo and Vasalia; six great grandchildren; father, Charles William Zimmerman, Jr.; sister-in-law, Natalie Zimmerman; two aunts, Doris Jeffers and Flora Zimmerman; and his best friend and beloved pug mug, Annie. He was predeceased by his mother, Janet Zimmerman and brother, Steve Zimmerman.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
