David Glenn Couse

He was born January 23, 1957 in Herkimer the son of the late Glenn and Nadine (Richards) Couse.

Dave retired from Otsego County and worked other jobs throughout his life.

He married Toni Edson on September 22, 2007 in Milford.

He loved fishing, hunting, riding “Dave’s Cadillac”, going to auctions and lawn sales and sharing his purchases with his family. Dave loved helping people and would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. But what he treasured the most was his precious grandchildren and the time spent with them.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Toni Couse; four children, David and Katie Couse, Phil and Nicole Couse, Tabytha and Adam Loften and Michelle and Chuck Hite; 11 grandchildren, Brian, Christopher, Lillian, Skyler, Hailey, Emma, Brayden, Alex, Riley, Inara and Calvin; two siblings, Dale Couse and Maggie and Gwen and Dennis White; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dennis and Donald Couse.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Milford Fire Department from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
