We just learned of Deb's passing and are so sorry that we didn't know at the time.  We have exchanged Christmas cards for many years starting after we left Oneonta in 1980.  When the cards stopped coming 3 years ago, we thought something was wrong but didn't realize Deb had passed.  Deb was a warm and loving soul and heaven is a better place with her in it!

You brought out the hippie in all of us! Rest peacefully, Deb

Debra, I knew you for such a short time but you were a very special lady.  I want to dedicate to you a very special poem which you loved.

The Hummingbird

The sunlight speaks. And it's voice is a bird:
It glitters half-guessed half seen half-heard
Above the flower bed.  Over the lawn...
A flashing dip and it is gone.
And all it lends to the eye is this.
A sunbeam giving the air a kiss.

I'm sorry to hear Deb's gone, but I know now she has found the peace she so deserves. My sympathy to her family and friends.
