Dominic Anthony Sparaco

He was born in Naples, Italy to Andrew and Josephine Letizia Sparaco on January 30,1925.

He was a Tail Gunner on a B-17 in the U.S. Air Force during WWII.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Carnicelli Sparaco; his daughters, Carolyn Guerrasio and son-in-law, John, Catherine Tisencheck and son-in-law, Louis; his son, Andrew Sparaco; his grandchildren, Lauren Duncan and her husband, Nathan, Stephanie Guerrasio, Vincent Guerrasio, Jeffrey Tisenchek and his wife, Kim, and Nicholas Tisenchek and his wife, Jessica; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Brigitte and Luke Tisenchek and Avalina Duncan; and his sister Angelina Koury.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Pat and Anthony Sparaco; his sister, Jeanette Rabidoue and his grandson, Michael Tisenchek.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 am on Monday, Mary 21, 2012 at St. Mary’s Church, 39 Walnut Street, Oneonta. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
