Donald C. Fuller

Donald was born on February 29, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, New York, the son of Ralph and Mary (Gaffney) Fuller. He married Carol A. Cannistra on June 17, 1961. She predeceased him on October 9, 2009.

Donald served his country in the Army from 1955 to 1957. He worked as a baker for Foti’s Bakery in Oneonta. He was an excellent athlete and was an avid golfer.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, the Oneonta Country Club and a life member of the BPOE Lodge 1312 in Oneonta.

He was the greatest uncle ever.

He is survived by his sister, Joan Fuller of Otego; three cousins, Kevin Stolark of Reno, Nevada, Colleen DeGrouff and her children, Jason, Steven, Michael and Colleen of Cortland, and William and Phyllis Cornelius of Mechanicville, Virginia; his sister-in-law, Pat Conway and her husband, Al of Oneonta.

Hi is also survived by his three nieces and their husbands, Kristin and Christopher Twomey of Biddeford, Maine, Kathy and D.J. Stein of Otego and Kimberly and Jay Frazier of Oneonta; his great niece and nephews, Casey, Cameron, Tyler, Nick, Jackson and Makenna and his little buddy, Jasper.

There will be no calling hours and a private family service will be held. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Calvary Columbarium, Emmons.
