Joan Molloy Sharp

On August 19, 1978, Joan married David A. Sharp, who predeceased her on August 12, 2022.

Joan grew up in Wantagh, New York, and spent most of her life in Massapequa. She was employed by Grumman Aerospace for many years. Most recently, she was a resident of A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta, New York.

Joan and Dave found great joy in spending time with their family and caring for their yard and flowers, which they lovingly tended throughout the years.

Joan is survived by her sister, Patricia Ashe; and one niece, two nephews, and seven great nieces nephews, Harold (Becky) Ashe, Stephanie, Johnathan, and Danielle, Margaret Wikoff, Joshua and Ashely, Timothy (Kathy) Ashe, Hannah and Noah.

In addition to her husband, Joan was predeceased by her brother-in-law, David Ashe.

Joan and David will be laid to rest together at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Emmons. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
