Joan had a passion for anything artistically creative, using her many talents to create gifts for many family and friends. Her generous and loving spirit to do for others was life long. Her accomplishments and talents were many. She was an avid crafter. She perfected her crocheting abilities, many projects from her own imagination; from baby mobiles, stuffed animals, bed doll dresses, afghans to name a few. Later years she developed a love of quilting. She created over 180, 4 are still currently hanging in a local nursing home. The quilts were given to many family members and friends. Another endeavor was cross-stitch, handcrafting many projects to commemorate births, weddings, etc. Another of Joan’s many talents was cake decorating for all occasions as well as being an excellent cook. She also enjoyed bowling most of her younger adult life, being league secretary to many. She enjoyed many car shows , trips to the casinos, spending time with family/friends and rides in the 1931 Model A.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Carol Uhlig, nephew Bruce Scofield Jr., her daughter-in-law, Darlene Wenck and special friends Phylis Roe and Dave Evans.
Joan is survived by her loving companion, Fred Packer, daughter Wyleen Clark (Roger), sons Ron and Jeffery Wenck; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jenn) Frogoza and Chris Wenck; great granddaughter Kayzha Wenck and great grandson Alex Frogoza; also special extended family Janet, Adrian, Nash, Leah and Adrian Michael Roseboom; also Michael Packer. She is also survived by sister, Gloria Weil (James), brother Ed Uhlig as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also special friend Maggie Sherwood.
There will be no service for Joan. Burial will be later in the Spring.
