Joseph Story, 75, passed away, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the Chestnut Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Joseph was a kind and intelligent man. He amazed many people with his intellectual capabilities. He was able to construct concepts in his mind which were almost impossible for others to understand. For example making up a whole new language and numeric system. As a young boy he could immediately multiply any 2 27 digit numbers in his head and produce the correct answer.
Joseph was also a world traveler in a way that many of us would only dream of. He was particularly fond of Indonesia and Central and South America. He was also an accomplished artist in ink and watercolors often depicting scenes of his travels. He made Oneonta, NY his home because of the climate and above all the kind people of the community. His family thanks you.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family and anyone who had the joy of tasting his satay sauce.
