She was born May 5, 1942 in Bristol, CT the daughter of Joseph and Lena (Starke) Faitella.
MaryLou married the love of her life, George K. Williams on July 11, 1964 in Plainville, CT where she and George raised their three children until they moved to Oneonta in 1989.
For many years she was a hairdresser. She loved cutting hair and all of her clients.
MaryLou loved reading, watching NASCAR, going camping and Sunday dinners. She always looked forward to the annual trips with her sisters. But what brought her the greatest joy was spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She loved sharing stories with her grandchildren about her childhood, her family and the wonderful life she shared with their grandfather, George.
She was a member of the Davenport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
MaryLou is survived by her three children, Kenneth Williams, Ilion, Dawn Wood, Davenport and Pamela (Karl) Conklin, Davenport; six grandchildren, Kenneth Williams, Jr., Tyler Wood, Kayla Wood, Sabrina Williams, Cole Williams and Mackenzie Conklin; one great grandson, Kenneth Williams III; sister, Jean SanJuan; brother, Joseph Faitella, Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Lena Faitella; husband, George Williams; grandchildren, George Anthony Williams and Samantha Williams; brother, Benjamin Faitella; sisters, Nancy Sonzella and Angeline Sanders.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
