

She was born November 7, 1964 in Oneonta the daughter of Vaughn and Katherine (McAdams) Horth.
Misty was a LPN at the Bridgewater Nursing Home in Binghamton for several years until her health declined and she had to retire.
She attended the Church of Christ in Sidney and enjoyed reading the Bible and going to Bible study. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Misty loved her dogs but what gave her the most joy in life was her family especially her grandson, Rakem.
Misty is survived by her three children, RJ Holling of Sidney, Nichole Holling of East Elmhurst and Andrew Holling of Sidney; one grandson, Rakem Browne; her father, Vaughn Horth of Oneonta; two sisters, Robin (Shawn) McLean of Mooers and Brenda Andreassean of Oneonta; one brother, Gary Horth of Sarasota, FL; sister-in-law, Pamela Horth of Oneonta; nieces and nephews, Collette McLean, Amanda Horth, Nate McLean, Chris and Mike Andreassean, Alicia, Kyle and Cody Horth and Brendan and Cameron Horth; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Katherine Horth and her brother, Kenneth Horth.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A service to celebrate the life of Misty Ann Holling will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Larry Bailey Pastor of the Church of Christ, Sidney officiating. Following the service there will be a gathering at the Oneonta Moose Club. Burial will be held in the spring in the Maryland Cemetery.
