Olga Catherine Hubbard

Olga was born on April 26, 1936 at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Pollock) Sturek. She attended PS 52 in Queens and Woodrow Wilson High School in Ozone Park.

She was married 3 times. Her first husband was Harry Roalef and they had a son, Harry Roalef. Her second husband was Romeo Rachiele and they had 2 daughters, Lynn Ann Bevins and Donna Marie Rachiele. Her third husband was Alfred “Ted” George Hubbard who she married on August 6, 1973 and he predeceased her on December 15, 2012.

Olga lived on Long Island until she married Ted. They moved upstate where they settled in Walton. They lived there for 23 years before moving to Oneonta.

She worked for 15 years as a general production operator for Bard Parker in Hancock. She was with the Wyandanch Fire Department for 4 years, the Walton Fire Department for several years, was a life member of the American Legion in Delhi, and a life member of the VFW in Oneonta. She loves animals and flowers.

Private services were held at the convenience of her family. She was buried in Ouleout Valley Cemetery next to her husband, Ted.
