Rich was born on December 5, 1971 in Oneonta, the son of Thomas and Donna (Schloupt) Martin.
Rich was a loving son who loved his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, riding ATVs with his brother, Randy, and siting on the porch watching the wildlife.
He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Martin of MA; his parents, Thomas and Donna; his brother, Randy and wife, Megan; a niece Hayley Martin, that he adored; a special person in his life, Laurie; 2 special aunts; and 6 cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Raymond and Izetta Schloupt; and Charles and Margaret Martin.
As per Rich’s wishes, a service and burial will take place at the family’s convenience.
