Rose Marie Stilson

She was born on September 9, 1937 in Franklin, the daughter of Carroll and Helena (Brundage) Stilson.

Rose was employed as a Nurses Aide for many years at Countryside Care Center in Delhi.

In Rose’s younger years she enjoyed picking leeks and princess pine for making wreaths. During her time at Chestnut Park she enjoyed bingo, bowling, and listening to music.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Debra) Walley of Ohio, Richard (Linda) Walley of Downsville, NY, Phillip (Barb) Walley of North Carolina, and Darlene Barriger of Sidney Center, NY; a brother, William (Beatrice) Stilson of Texas; 45 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward Walley Sr; daughter Ruth Walley; son, Edward Walley, Jr.; son-in-law Raymond Barriger Jr; daughter-in-law Jerri Walley; brothers James and Richard Stilson; and granddaughter Aileach Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
