Alfred Lemos Tellez

Alfred "Big Al" Lemos Tellez, 79 years old of Pomona passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Saturday, December 5, 2020 after a long illness. Born on September 11, 1941 in San Bernardino, he spent his younger days in Ontario but the last 53 years in Pomona. He is survived by his high school sweetheart of 59 years, Diana Davila Tellez, 4 children, Irene Rodriguez (Mani), Tony (Anna), Sally Davis (Paul), Christopher (Jessica), 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Esther Tellez, brothers Pete and Jesse. Survived by sister Kathy Hererra.

He graduated in 1960 from Chaffey High School and joined the Air Force immediately after graduation. He loved life and the fun joys it brought. Enjoyed camping and fishing in the High Sierras, gambling in Las Vegas, sporting events, dancing, just an overall fun-loving, humorous person. Loved by all and will be missed greatly.

There will not be in-person visitations due to the Covid-19 current restrictions but will be live streamed on Facebook on Wednesday, December 23 starting at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery.
