Arlen Harold Downs

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Arlen Harold Downs of Ontario, California. Arlen entered into rest at the age 89 on Friday, March 1, 2024. Arlen was born in California on May 25, 1934. Arlen had a career of being a business owner in the foundry industry. Arlen served in the United States Army. Arlen was a member of Chaffey College Hall of Fame and a member of the Professional Baseball Player Association. Arlen enjoyed hunting, restoring antiques and spending time with his wife Shirley and family. He was a great storyteller and had many stories to share. Arlen was loved by everyone he encountered with.

Arlen is survived by his wife Shirley of 54 years, his son Lance Downs and Daughter in law of Canby Oregon, his Daughter Kim Bingham and son in law of Menifee, California and his step son Phil Vincent and daughter in law of Carlsbad, California. Arlen also has 5 grandchildren that he loved
