

She is survived by a daughter, Denise Smithson (and her husband, Robert); four brothers, Jack Baltierra, Pete Baltierra (and his wife, Gloria), Joe Baltierra, and Ruben Baltierra. She also has a sister still living, Dolores Lara (and her husband, Victor). Carmen also leaves a legacy of six granddaughters, Naomi Martinez, Amanda Parrilla, Nicole Desbas, Alyssa Chavez, Andrea Reyes, and Amber Morfin. In addition, she was further blessed with sixteen great-grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Miranda, Gilbert, Audrey, Jacob, Matthew, Elena, Alexander, Alyse, Andrew, Adrian, Annabel, Bryan, Marshall, and Khloe.
Carmen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Saturnino Parrilla, her son, Michael Parrilla, and two sisters, Lupe Baltierra and Margaret Martinez.
Carmen loved being with her family and friends. Her smile lit the room up. There were times she would make you laugh when you were hurting or discouraged. She was such a strong person. Her faith was always in her as she prayed her rosary and said her prayers every day. She will truly be missed by all her family and everyone whose lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue in Ontario, California 91762. A Rosary will be said that evening at 6:00 PM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM at St. George Catholic Church, 505 N. Palm Avenue, Ontario, California. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. G Street, Ontario, California.
