

Her journey of faith began in 1972, and she remained steadfast in her spiritual commitment throughout her life. Cecelia was renowned for her culinary talents, especially her homemade peach cobbler, which became a cherished tradition among family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Theresa Moye and grandsons Talvin and Taron; Claude (Cheryl) Moye III and grandson Anthony; Randolph (Raheem) Moye; Stephanie (Jimmie) Moye Ostrowski and granddaughter Lolita; Michelle Collins; Elisa (Harold) Moye Bookart and grandchildren Steve and Summer Rogers, and Giovanni Fields; Talmin (Kialah) Moye, and grandchildren Talina and Tamaree; Tamlin Moye and granddaughter Taylin; Benjamin (Meagan) Moye and grandchildren Jayden, Benya, and Nyle. Cecelia is also survived by her sisters Audrey Harris and Sally Thomas, granddaughters Mallori, Moye, and Marquita Senegal, grandsons Myron Moye Jr., Maliq Moye, Emeka Moye-King, and Jordan Moye along with seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons Myron Moye Sr. and Stephen Moye; her siblings Ruth, Dolores, Clifford Jr., Shirley, Marlene, Yvonne, and her grandson Talmin II “Deuce” Moye.
Cecelia’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her unwavering faith will be remembered always.
