Darlene Patricia Garcia was born on August 5, 1968 to her mother, Emily H Garcia, and her father, Alfred Perez Herrera. She always loved to live life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone she met. Growing up she was a beautiful tomboy who loved playing softball and would receive many tournament awards for the National Headquarters of Bobby Sox Softball from 1979-1980. She graduated from Chaffey High School, Class of 1987. Since then she was an adventure seeker who loved having fun fishing, camping, enjoyed going to concerts, casinos, Santa Monica Pier, Six Flags Magic Mountain but her happy place was always Universal Studios, where she would always say, “Today is the day I get discovered!”. She was incredibly talented at improvising and tinkering with objects to make them useful for everyday life; she was very innovative. She loved Betty Boop, Coca-Cola, Oldies but Goodies and can even be seen break dancing to a funky beat. She would always wake up in the middle of the night to eat a bowl of cereal, even though she was the best cook on the planet! She always had a plate of food ready for anyone who came to her and showed wonderful hospitality to friends and family. She could light up a whole room with just her smile and was truly the life of every party. She was very giving and took care of so many people throughout her lifetime. Although a part of us is currently missing, we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with our precious Darstar.
