Gloria Aiken

Gloria Aiken went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2018. Gloria was born in Los Angeles on May 15, 1927 and grew up in the LA area where she attended Washington High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Redlands and worked for the Southern California Gas Company. She married in 1950 and was a faithful and dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Ontario and then Sierra Vista Baptist Church in Alta Loma.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Douglas in 2009, and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Alan Baker (Upland); grandson Christopher Baker (Kansas City, Missouri); and granddaughter and husband, Elizabeth and Philip Solt (San Diego).

Gloria will be laid to rest at the Inglewood Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 10th at the Sierra Vista Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gloria’s memorial at Sierra Vista Baptist Church, 7192 Jasper St, Alta Loma, CA 91701.
