

James (Jimmy) Wesley Pate Jr. was born on August 19, 1951 in Bronx, New York to the union of the late James Wesley (Buddy) Sr. and Phelma Jean Pate. He was the oldest of five children.
While serving in the United States Air Force at Sheppard Air Force base in Texas, Jimmy had his first son. He then returned to Cleveland, Ohio where his second son was born. Jimmy also spent time in Nevada and eventually California, where he established roots. He had two more sons, one in California and one in Nevada, and his only daughter in California.
Jimmy was an entrepreneur and had several businesses. He was a “Jack of all Trades” and never stopped learning new things. His passion was his car repair business and many times, helped family and friends when they needed him.
Jimmy leaves to mourn: four sons, Xzavia Tremaine Pate, Devine L J Von Pate, Rafael Marcelles Pate and Kevin James Pate; one daughter, Cawana Lakiesha Pate; three daughters in law: Robyn, Kristina and Katherine and a loving partner of many years, Felicitas.
He also leaves to mourn his passing: his loving mother and best friend, Phelma (Bobby) Pate; two sisters, Sharon Marie Abdallah and Brenda Francine Mckinney; two brothers, Charles Milton Pate and Michael Edward Pate; two brothers in law, Fallieres and Andre and 2 sisters in law, Gwen and Shawn; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and family and friends.
We will all miss you and love you always!
