John Francis Gaukler, age 81, of Upland, California passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. John was born November 24, 1939. He was happily married to Linda Gaukler for 31 years. He was a member of the American Legion and Elks Club of Ontario, Ca. He had a passion for hot rods, collector cars and gun collection. John proudly served his country in the Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1965 with the rank of PFC.
Surviving relatives include his loving wife, Linda Gaukler of Upland, California, sister Kathryn Porter of Riverside, brother, Thomas Gaukler of Yorba Linda, son Richard Gaukler of Reedsport, Oregon, daughter Tamera Herrera of Fort Mohave, AZ and stepdaughter, Lisa Carreon of Upland.
His grandchildren include Hayley Crisostomo of Ontario, California, Eric Michael Carreon of Moreno Valley, Dominic Carreon of Eastvale, Dyllon Carreon of Chula Vista, Mathew Herrera of Phoenix, AX, Micah Herrera of Chino Hills, Makaz Herrera of Phoenix, AZ, and Lacy Johnson of Peoria, AZ.
He also leaves to cherish his memory five great grandchildren, Damien Crisostomo of Ontario, CA, Genesis Crisostomo of Ontario, Roman Crisostomo of Ontario, Issac Carreon and Vince Carreon of Moreno Valley, CA.
A visitation for John will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. A committal service with military honors will occur Monday, December 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. G Street, Ontario, CA 91762.
