Joe I will never forget how we met. We were outside our Respiratory classroom on the first day of class. The first thing you said to me was hi I'm Joe but you can call me Papa Joe; and were going to be BEST friends. Joe you were so right . I miss our daily phone calls,your laugh and Flo's lasgna. Until we meet again miss you dear friend . Love Terri

Dear Uncle Joe, I can't say how many times when I was growing up that grandma jenny would say I remind her of you in so many ways. Maybe it was our love for pizza crust, or our obsession with body building or perhaps the fact we both had thick Sicilian heads and never seemed to take no for an answer and had a bit of a temper. Whatever the comparison was I was always proud to be compared to you. For all of us, you were the trend setter, moving out to the west coast, going back to school later in life , running the NYC marathon. Your passion for life and love for your family is something I still strive for. You;ll be missed Uncle Joe, say hello to grandma jenny for me, rest in peace.

I will always treasure our friendship and bond we had since we first met, our many rounds of golf together and as many stops at your favorite stop “In and Out”  right after our games ! We shared many great laughs and great conversations about family and just life experiences. It was like I had known you for many many years but it was just for a short time. 
I will always miss you Mr Vento (Joey) , but we will always continue our friendship when we meet again in our heavenly home.”Heaven”
