

Linda Gail Snyder, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at home on the morning of April 11, 2011. She was born on April 2, 1956 in Santa Monica, CA to Dale R Welch and Marilyn L Schult. Linda was a devoted mother to her four children.
She taught 1st and 2nd grades for ten years. Linda was an accomplished musician, actively involved in musical productions at the schools where she taught, accompanied the Pioneer Jr. High School Choir for a year, and was actively involved singing in choirs, writing, directing, and accompanying music for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Upland, CA. An active faith in Christ was very important to her and thus she also fulfilled assignments teaching and administrating in the women’s, young women’s and children’s organizations of her local church.
Surviving are her father, Dale Welch, husband, Craig Snyder, whom she married in 1975, a brother, David Welch (Nancy) of Carmichael, CA, a daughter, Mrs Jeremy (Heatherlyn) Colt of Star, ID, three sons Brent Snyder (Madeleine) of Spanish Fork, UT, Joshua Snyder (Renee) of Upland, and Matthew Snyder (Whitney) of Salt Lake City, UT and 11 grandchildren - Ewan Tucker (Colt), Corinne Colt, Laurel Colt, Sara Snyder, Ashley Colt, Julie Snyder, Austin Colt, Luke Snyder, Felicity Snyder, Maddison Snyder and Juniper Snyder.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 785 N San Antonio Ave in Upland after which she was interred at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Arrangements were under the direction of Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Avenue, Ontario, CA.
