

Marie Polizzi Holweger has been practicing law since 1980. During this time she has gained prominence for her creative solutions in employer liability, insurance coverage/bad faith litigation, product warranty claims, product liability, construction site accidents and general tort litigation. She has written hundreds of successful demurrers, summary judgment motions and appeals. A highly successful trial attorney, Ms. Holweger has defeated numerous well-known plaintiffs' attorneys. She excels in case preparation, and is often called on to answer clients' tough procedural and legal questions.
Marie has handled employment litigation cases ranging from sexual harassment to wrongful termination and disability discrimination. She has taken numerous cases to trial and handled dozens of mediations and arbitrations.
Marie was awarded her J.D., summa cum laude in 1980 from Loyola Law School and her B.S., magna cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and Los Angeles County and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice by the State Bar of California and before the federal courts in the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Marie was born on December 31, 1954 in Upland, California. She received her early education at Holy Family in Glendale where she spent her child hood and teen years.
Marie is survived by her husband Jim, her mother Connie, sister Carole (Fred), sister Joanne, Jim’s two daughters, Misti (Carter) , Marci (Brian) and two grandchildren Eric and Amanda.
