It's so hard to choose my favorite memory of Mark.  I have so many. But one story does certainly stand out.  My family and I were visiting from Fernley.  After settling in, I complimented Mark on his Volkswagen Beatle. He immediately suggested we take it out for a drive.  I could tell he was eager to show it off.  After grabbing a few gears and making it a few blocks from his house, we gave each other one of those "concerned" looks.  He instantly pulled over to the side of the road and hopped out. Without a word he pulled a fire extinguisher out from his car as I began to notice the smoke doing summersaults through the air behind him.  I quickly got out and began helping him to open the hood/trunk of the car, but the latch was jammed.  Mark was aiming the fire extinguisher in any crack he could find and letting that thing loose.  With all the smoke from the fire and the white haze from the fire extinguisher drifting through the air we must have looked like two bakers on their first time in a kitchen. After a few minutes we got the hood open and put the fire out.  After all the commotion, we sat down on the sidewalk and had a brief laugh.  He called a tow service, and we made it home safe and sound.  I will never forget how calm and put together Mark was at that moment.  I wanted to ask him if he had done that before because I was impressed.  We finished the day with a few cold beers, lots of gaming in his garage arcade, and good conversation.   It was a perfect day.  I will miss you very much my friend.  May you rest in peace knowing that the fond memories you've made won't be forgotten.  

This picture was taken on October 8th little did I know just a couple weeks later you would be gone,  I had such an amazing last vacation with you, what I wouldn’t do to back with you hugging me joking with me I miss you so much. Or to hear you say you loved me daily just know I will love you forever ( my bun) (my honey) your very proud and lucky wife 💔

Sitting here missing you.  I’m still in shock & the tears are still creeping in.  I can say with all my heat that you were the best brother anyone could’ve asked for.  God blessed us with you & I will cherish our memories forever.  So much more in my heart but for now this will have to do.  Love and miss you terribly.  

Mark was a life long friend of mine. We met at Berlyn Elementry. We were probably in the 2nd grade. Mark was one of the funniest persons i have ever known. Mark would cruise over on weekends and hang out with us on Dst. I have so many memories of Mark. The best memory of Mark is how fun he was to be around. Mark was " Ontario", people from Ontario will know what that means.  I could always count on seeing Mark at the Route 66 show in down town. We would share a hand shake and a hug and we would both share a laugh. I will miss you Mark and it was a blessing to be a part of your journey. To say you’re missed is an understatement. I know when you closed your eyes for your final rest you were at Santa Anita watching the horses, at the car show, a K-Mart hot wheel convention or in your backyard with all of the family & some 80’s music playing. I already miss sitting at the table in your backyard, eating lumpia and some jalapeño poppers. I find peace knowing that even though you won’t be at that table again, you are seated at the best table with God. I miss your crazy stories and can’t wait to hear all about the new ones you’re making. We miss and love you Uncle Mark!

Nothing will replace you calling my phone to harass me, ask how life is, or to feed me movie quotes. And not the good quotes, the ones that only you or I would know. We shared a ton of memories together, and i know that with my many milestones in life to come, you will be a proud uncle and always in my mind. Rest easy Uncle Mark. 

I have such fond memories of us as kids for the many trips we made to see family in Ontario.  I'm sure we will see you again Mark. My deepest sympathy during this difficult time. Love, hugs and prayers.
