Mary Josephine Clauer

Mary Jo was born on July 19, 1930 and grew up on the Mealy Family Farm near Waterford, Wisconsin.

Mary Jo and Robert Clauer were married and made their home in Upland, California. Together, they raised 6 children: Michael, Amy (Harmeier), David, Daniel, Craig and Thomas. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Mary Jo’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was supportive, kind, and shared her love of Jesus with her family and loved ones.

In addition to her children, she also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, her brother Jim Mealy and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Mary Jo was predeceased by her husband Robert Clauer, her grandson Jack, her sister Jean Noble and her parents L Burdette and Leta Mealy.

At Mary Jo’s request, a Funeral Mass was held in early September at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Mary Jo will be laid to rest on Monday, November 1, 2021, in Ontario, California.
