Mary Elise Hoskins

Mary Elise Hoskins, 74, of Chino, California, died April 17, 2021 at Kaiser Permanente in Ontario, California, after a long illness. She is survived by her son, Ryan C. Hoskins of Rialto, California; a sister, Pamela A. Zech of Claremont, California; a brother Robert C. Zech of Port Angeles, Washington, as well as seven nieces and nephews, a grand nephew and a grand niece.

Born in Havre, Montana on December 8, 1946, to Evelyn Mae Trudel and Robert M. Zech, she moved to Chino in 1953 with her family and remained a resident of San Bernardino County her entire life. She completed grade school at St. Margaret’s Catholic School and graduated from Chino High School in 1964. She was a lifelong member of St. Margaret’s parish, and was a full-time homemaker. She was known as a craft maker as well as a superior cook and baker, preparing special birthday and wedding cakes for family and friends.
