Maryjane C. Alvarez

MaryJane Castro Alvarez, 61 of Ontario, Ca. passed away February 23, 2018, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, in Ontario, Ca. She was born on December 24, 1956 in San Bernardino, Ca. and lived in Ontario, Ca. all her life.

She worked as a Forklift Operator for Schneider Logistics for 13 years and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Montclair Ca. Her hobbies and interest were she loved spending time with family, grandchildren, going to the Casino and reading books. She also loved to decorate for all the holidays. She couldn't pronounce some words correctly, but it was really funny to hear her try and at times couldn't understand what she would be saying in her "Chinese language" - is what we would call it, that she would have us laughing and crying at the same time. Everyone loved her potato salad and she was very well organized. But most of all she was a wonderful caring, loving wife, mom and she loved her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Rosary Service will begin at 7:00 PM that evening. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 10190 Central Avenue, Montclair, California 91763 on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. G Street, Ontario, California will immediately follow the mass.
