Whatever has a beginning has an end. Today we have met here to say goodbye to my dear and beloved wife.
Noble Adjuawa Abue Boison, (her Maiden Name) was born on September 9th 1946, to late Madam Rebecca Boison, at the time of her birth, the father passed away.
She had her elementary education at Saltpond Anglican School and upon her completion went to Kumasi to join her uncle with the hope of continuing her education, however her uncle was transferred to Accra so she went back to Saltpond. Life in Saltpond was not that she wanted and therefore came to join her uncle again in Accra.
It was in Accra that Noble met me. (Joseph). During this time our relationship was not too strong because her uncle was very strict on her and would not allow her to go out. To go out especially at night, must be master planned. The door was opened when she got her first job at Ashanti Furniture works as a factory worker. Coming home late or going to work on Saturdays were all excuses to get the chance to meet each other.
In 1966 we had our first born, but unfortunately that baby died and at this time her uncle has accepted me as a would be son-law. We had our next baby boy 1968, and in 1971 had another boy. After his birth I had an opportunity to travel to United States, and leaving the kids and their mother was had but I had to leave. I left Ghana August, 1971.
Upon my arrival, after having secured a job and enrolled in school, I made every effort for Noble to join me the following year.
Noble also enrolled in L.A. Trade Technical and majored in culinary arts, that field was not lucrative for her so she continued to do data processing and after completion got a job with Southwest Products where she retired after fifteen years of service.
She was a worrier, and very concerned about the children and the grandchildren, making sure they obtain education. She would also make sure to get birthday gifts for the grandchildren because she knew everybody’s birthday.
Noble left behind, a husband, four children, and eight grandchildren. MAY HER SOUL REST IN PEACE.
