Pat was born in Brooklyn, NY to parents Leonard and Margaret (Maggie). Upon graduation from Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, she married her high school sweetheart Jack. She accompanied him to live in Bermuda, where he was stationed with the Air Force for 4 years. Upon returning to New York, she started raising their family. During those years she worked for a preschool and was able to use her talents as an artist, and her beautiful singing voice to entertain the children in her charge. In 1975 she re-settled her family in Rancho Cucamonga, where over the years she worked for Hang Ten, enjoyed her garden, collected miniatures, was an outstanding supportive mother, and later, a loving caregiver to Maggie. She loved traveling, and took many wonderful trips all over the world.
Pat was an active member of her parish community. She spent 30 years leading the Ministry of Arts and Environment, and making beautiful floral displays for St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was a member of the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, and a recipient of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Award in 2016. She was an amazing cook, talented artist, and will be remembered for her easy, hearty laugh.
Pat is survived by her children Peter Bamberger (Cathy) and Patricia Sullivan (John), her grandchildren Michael and Megan Sullivan and Peter (PJ) Bamberger. She is predeceased by Jack, her devoted husband of 66 years, and her brother Leonard.
