Patricia Ann Day Hodge, 88, passed away on January 14, 2018 at Sunrise Senior Living in Claremont, California due to complications from dementia.  She was born in Mansfield, Pennsylvania on September 3, 1929 to Ralph C. Day and Lenora Markowicz Day. Preceding her in death were her father, mother, two brothers, Ronald Day and Dr. Robert Day, and former husbands Allen H. Eaton, George Glazner and James Hodge.  Patricia is survived by two sons Alan (Lynne) Eaton of La Verne, California and David (Joy) Eaton of Monrovia, California, two daughters Deborah (James) Lemaster of Kingman, Arizona and Sandra (Buzz) Siler of Temecula, California, 8 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and 6 nieces and nephews.

Patsy grew up in Mansfield, Pennsylvania attending school there.  She and her brothers helped their parents with their egg and poultry business by collecting eggs and candeling them in the basement of their home. Following graduation from Mansfield High School in 1947, Patsy attended Mansfield State University studying to become a teacher or nurse.  She married Allen H. Eaton in April 1948 and moved to Ontario, California where they lived with Allen's biological mother, Doris, and Allen's siblings. After the birth of their first child, Alan Robert in November 1948, the new family returned to Mansfield, Pennsylvania during the spring of 1949 where two daughters, Deborah Ann and Sandra Lynn, and a son, David Charles, were born during the early-mid 1950's. The family owned a small country house located next to a dairy farm until June 1957 when they returned to Ontario, California arriving on July 4th, 1957. In April 1958 the family purchased a new house in Ontario on G Street. That became Pat's home, and her pride and joy for the next 57 years. She enjoyed working around her home and she was always doing improvement projects.  Pat particularly enjoyed working in her always beautiful yards and garden.  She loved growing roses and she had them all around her house. She also loved her pets. In her later years she resided with a large number of cats.  Stray kitties seemed to know that she had a big heart and they were quick to adopt her.  She took them in, fed and cared for them and made them a part of her ever expanding cat family.

Pat graduated from Chaffey Community College with an Associate of Arts degree In June, 1969.  She went to work for a dental x-ray laboratory and quickly learned how to analyze x-rays for orthodontists. Seeing an opportunity, she started her own cephalometric analysis business which she operated from her home. Her business became very successful and over the years she analyzed x-rays for hundreds of orthodontists and dental x-ray labs. Her work was known nationwide. She retired and closed her business in September 2014 after 45 years.

Pat was an Ontario resident until 2015 when she relocated to Sunrise Senior Living in Claremont.  She made a lot of new friends there and enjoyed playing bingo. She leaves behind a large stash of winnings.

Mom was a strong and independent woman who raised 4 strong, independent children. she is resting in the arms of our Lord. I'm so thankful she is not suffering any longer.
