

Shannon Michelle Miller, 55, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at her home in Montclair, California. A devoted mother, beloved sister, and loyal friend, Shannon’s life was marked by her deep capacity for love, resilience, and connection.
Born on November 7, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona, Shannon later made her home in Montclair, where she built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and enduring friendships.
She found her greatest joy in being a mother to her daughter, Elizabeth Valadez. No matter what challenges she faced, Shannon’s love and dedication to Elizabeth never wavered. She was a steady presence in her daughter’s life, offering support, encouragement, and a deep, abiding love that anchored them both.
Shannon’s relationships reflected her strength and her belief in loyalty. She valued authenticity and stood by those she loved, celebrating life’s joys and facing its challenges with honesty and heart. Her friendships were a source of happiness, filled with long lunches, favorite shows, and a shared love of simple, joyful moments.
Throughout her life, Shannon showed extraordinary resilience and courage. She met life’s challenges with determination, always striving to build a brighter path for herself and her daughter. Her strength, her heart, and her hard-won wisdom will remain a lasting legacy for all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Valadez, and her brothers, Shawn Miller and Jeremy Pischke, who will honor her memory with the same love and resilience she showed throughout her life.
A memorial service celebrating Shannon’s life will be held on May 28, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady Of Lourdes in Montclair, CA. In keeping with her wishes, her ashes will be spread privately at a place that was meaningful to her.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Shannon’s memory by planting something beautiful, sharing a favorite story, spending time with those you love, or simply enjoying a good laugh over a show she might have loved. Wildflower seeds—chosen to invite butterflies to visit—will be available at the service for those who would like to carry a piece of her vibrant spirit forward.
