Stephen "Steve" Bretzman, age 67, of Ontario, CA passed away at home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1957 in Kankakee, the son of Louis and Mildred Bretzman. Steve married Debbie Lerma on April 6, 2015.
Steve was a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Salem Christian Homes. He was a loving husband and father that enjoyed spending time in his yard and pool, golfing, woodworking, going to his grandson's football games and loved getaways to Palm Springs with Debbie and Amanda.
Surviving is his wife, Debbie; daughters, Alaina (Jarrod) Manuel and Amanda Bretzman; stepdaughters, Breanne (Eric) Strengberg and Brittany Lerma; grandson, Nathan Manuel; granddaughters, Kaylob, Olive, Zoey and Penny; sisters, Sandi (Brian) Fitzpatrick, Sue (the late Jerry) Gromer, Sonia (Bob) Wilder, Sherri (Tim) Maxwell along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Stan Bretzman.
Steve will be greatly missed by many.
