Teresa Acevedo Mori

Born in Puerto Rico on July 30, 1939, Terri was raised in New York City, where her vibrant personality and love of life began to shine. She later built a beautiful life in Ontario, California, where she resided for 49 years. Terri shared an extraordinary 74-year marriage with her husband, Raymond Mori, who preceded her in death.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Gerri Nobile; Ray Mori and his wife Julie; Teresa “Tita” Laird and her husband Charlie; Jeannie Mori; and Adrian “Andy” Mori. Terri was a proud and devoted grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Terri will always be remembered for her zest for life, her radiant and welcoming smile, and her deep love for both Puerto Rico and the United States. She had a gift for bringing joy to others—especially on the dance floor, where her amazing moves were unforgettable.

Through every chapter of her life, Terri demonstrated strength in adversity, unconditional love, perseverance, and forgiveness. Her life touched so many, and because we knew her, we have been changed for good.
