I'm Barbara everyone knows me as Baba.
Tina was my Second cousin. I want to say a couple of things and share some memories.
Tina called one day saying she just came home from Germany and asked whats there to do out here, and if I wanted to go out..we became super close and she was my partner in crime. I had no idea these where gonna be the most memorable times of my life. She always knew where to go, With Tina it was an adventure and I mean an adventure. One time she told this guy she seeing that she was an airline stewardess, even showed up with a fake briefcase. She was always making me laugh. We were always laughing.
Tina was an extremely talented woman, from cooking to all kinds handy work around the house.
When Tina was getting married she said she was making her dress and all the bridesmaids by hand. I remember going to La with her to buy everything from the thread, to beads to the lace and In my head I was thinking Wow what can't she do. I think she even made her cake. Another thing she Loved her kids and would of done anything for them, like getting them baby ducks not realizing their were gonna big and loud. And Before we knew it we both became grandmas. Tina was such a good grandma. I'd always see on FB her making things special for them. I will always cherish the memories when we laughed together, danced together and she loved to dance, we even sang Spanish songs together not knowing what we were saying. I always tease my husband saying "Man those were the old good days."
I love Cousin Tina Until we meet again for some more adventures .

you & “little lila”  i’m happy to know that laylah will grow up and remember you as she remembers you now. you always had your little funny names with them. thank you for loving my kids just as much & always making them feel included. I went through our old messages and i seen a text of you messaging me in the morning like you always would, but i was asleep and laylah had my phone and responded to you but it was just random letters and you knew it was her and still responded “ Lol.. Hello lila” , knowing she couldn’t read it.. i txt you later and noticed and said sorry that was laylah and you responded saying that i was a cute surprise.

you &  “ little suavecito” is what you would call him.. i remember the first day you called him that, and i corrected you saying his name is Santiago and you said well ima call him little suavecito, 😂
On this day you really wanted us to come over with him and we were unsure on taking him out because he was just born, i remember you calling my phone making sure we were coming and you said to bring little suavecito because you really wanted to hold him.

a little before mother’s day, you invited all the grandkids to come together and you had them do arts and crafts. Even though he was too small to do it, you still included him. You had the kids put together a fake plant with pictures of them on it and you gave me and karina one, from the kids. i’ll forever hold onto that mothers day gift♥️
i’m sad you didn’t get much time with him as much as you did with laylah😥 you always treated my kids fairly and ill always love you for that. ♥️

i miss you so much mother. As the days come closer to your funeral it’s getting harder. i don’t wanna accept the fact of letting you finally go. I don’t wanna accept the fact of finally putting you at rest ;;  i feel like im constantly waiting for you to call or txt me. 
it hurts so much because i kno i wont get either of those. I constantly look at your pictures in my phone and i listen to your voicemails you’ve ever left me. 
i listen to all your favorite music and i cry; 
i break down and cry randomly because i never thought this would be happening to us, at least not right now. i never thought id lose you mom..i never thought something like this would happen to me; me losing my mom. i love you so much. please visit me in my dreams and talk to me. 🕊️😥💔 tell me what’s it like where you’re at,  i know you’re okay but tell me that you are. i love you so much mom. ♥️ ; love,  misss amanda

There’s a million amazing things that I could say, but I could never put into words the impact she had on my life. I wasn’t the only one she had this impact on, as so many others have the most beautiful stories to share that can attest to how much of a light she was to us all. 
I met Tina as a young teenager, her and my dad dated for awhile—and no matter what they went through, she would always go out of her way to make sure my siblings and I were included in whatever she had planned for her own kids. She would even let my best friend tag along. 
She loved me, she fed me, she clothed me, and she showed up for at all the times I needed someone. She would always remind me that I was strong. She truly inspired me, and I thank her for being that voice in my head every time I wanted to give up. She is a huge reason why I am who I am today. 
I remember on my 16th birthday—she came by our house, probably looking for my dad, and noticed that I was home alone on my birthday. She asked me what I had planned, and I told her I didn’t have plans. She said that 16 was a big deal and I should be celebrated. So she insisted that I invited all my friends over that Saturday so that she can throw a party for me and Raylene, since our birthdays were the same week. She bought me a cake and all. She made me feel so special. Nobody had ever gone out of their way to do something like that for me. It’s a core memory.
There were several other instances similar to that story. She always made sure I felt loved and cared for. 
Even in my adult years, she called me regularly. She drove out to my house in LA when I moved out there. She never stopped checking in on me. 
She called me a few months ago, too. We talked and caught up. She congratulated me on my accomplishments and reminded me that I am strong and she was proud of me. We made plans to catch up in person, even. 
I’m sad we didn’t get to follow through with those plans, I miss her so dearly.  May she rest in peace.

Oh mom, how I miss you , how my heart aches knowing I have to be here without you ... I will forever be your baby boy . I wish we had more time 😞 . I love you mom so much❤️ I will always remember everything you taught me and the advice you gave me , how strong and wise you were . The way you made me feel whole and complete. How beautiful you are inside and out in this world . I'm honored to have you as my mom ❤️ your youngest son  -Armando

Im very saddened to hear about Tina. Her and I would always have talks about our yards, what we wanted to do with them, and how she was planting something new. We would also talk about decorating the houses for the holidays and every year we always had to keep putting more up. One thing that I’ll never forget,  is me and my mom came back from shopping and my mother had fallen as I went to put some stuff down and I didn’t know. Tina came running over and helped her up. I couldn’t be more thankful for that and it is a memory that I will always remember. Rest peacefully ❤️

Tina was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved in.  She was so hard working and when she moved, I missed her playing my era of music while doing yard work. She was very sweet and supportive when my husband passed away in 2022. Her light being gone is a great loss to her family and friends. Rest well, dear lady.🙏🏻💕

Dearest Tina,
You were always decorating having the best decorations especially on Halloween lol. We had many laughs and conversations about my kids and your  kids growing up you loved your kids so much and your grandkids. I can’t believe your gone so full of life.Im going to miss you my friend . Rest in paradise.
