

Tommy Lee Jr, was born on November 17, 1931, in Galveston Texas from the Union of Tommy Lee Sr. and Coretta (Dolly D) Hunt. Tommy Lee is the eldest of 5 children. He was raised by two strong women of God, his mother and Grandmother (Creasy Smith) in Beaumont Texas. After graduating Charleston Pollard High School, Tommy enlisted in the United States Army. After serving his country he was honorably discharged.
He and his mother, Dolly, moved to California, where he started his own union of families. He pursued his career in electronic engineering, public sanitation for the City of Los Angeles; from which he retired after 25 years. He closed his career with his passion of serving the public by driving as a shuttle bus operator for 10 years with Ontario Airport. Tommy was always hard working and had a passion for people. He always had a smile, kind words, and gave encouragement and knowledge to everyone. He was friend to anyone and everyone he met.
Raised in a God fearing home, Tommy learned and accepted our Lord Savior at an early age. He walked in faith, he raised his children by the book of faith, and proved his faith through his works. After retiring completely, he devoted his time and life to serve Christ. He and his family were dedicated members of over 30 years to Primm African Methodist Episcopal Church. He served as an Usher and part of RAMS (Richard Allen Men Society) men walking in Christ group, where he enjoyed devoting his time in preparing meals and assisted with cook-outs for various church and holiday programs with his grandchildren.
Tommy Lee was the chameleon of all aspects of life. He was part of various groups from his love of sports as a member and supporter for various Football Booster Clubs for his sons and grandson, as well as Family and Friends Social Elite clubs. He enjoyed traveling, music (JAZZ), and especially attending his children and grandchildren sports events. He loved and Cherished every moment spent with Friends and family.
Tommy is preceded in death by both his Parents, and his Beloved sister (Bennie-Ruth Horn), his first born son Ellis, and two grandchildren Justin Miles Lee and Jeramiah Campbell.
He leaves treasured memories to his beloved wife and best friend of 50 yrs. Elizabeth (TINA) Lee . His (3) siblings, Derrick Sayles of Victorville, Arthur Lee, and Sister Maggie Lee, of Warden Texas. (1) cousin Joyce Bell of Compton. His (6) children; Michael Rollins Lee, Jeffrey Miles Lee, Todd Campbell-Lee, Michelle Yvette Lee, LaShanna Mone’t (Shannee) Lee-Daniels, Bettina Louise (Boobee)Lee. 18 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and nation of nephews, nieces, great and thereof, and a host of church family and friends.
