Born on June 27, 1954, in Webster County, West Virginia, Vayden's journey from a farm boy in West Virginia to a respected businessman in California embodies the American dream of hard work and perseverance.
Vayden's early life on a farm in Webster Springs laid the foundation for a work ethic that would define his life. His first job as a newspaper delivery boy marked the beginning of a lifetime of dedication and service to others.
Vayden’s career was a testament to his ambition and leadership, starting at Norris Industries and culminating in the co-founding of Advanced Automation.
Vayden's passions included 1970s muscle cars, motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. Yet, above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and two sons. Vayden was a patriot at heart, loving his country deeply. Known for his dependability and straightforwardness, Vayden was a self-made man who lived independently from the age of 16, working tirelessly to finish high school.
Vayden leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by his devoted wife, two proud sons, and a loving sister. His life was a testament to the belief that "Life Goes On," a quote he lived by and exemplified through his actions.
The memorial service for Vayden Lee Blake Sr. will be held on Saturday, May 18th, at DRAPER MORTUARY, 811 N. Mountain Ave., Ontario, CA 91762, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a gathering at the Banquet Hall from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. In respect for Vayden's memory, young children are kindly asked not to attend.
