

Virginia was born in Ada, Oklahoma to Ira Raymond Luther and Ollie Jewell Chesser on December 22nd, 1938. Virginia Spent the first 5 years of her life in Ada, Oklahoma and the remaining years in California. Virginia had one Brother Raymond, and seven sisters Doris, Lovena, Elizabeth "Buffy", Nancy, Sena, Pamela, and Beverly that she loved dearly and kept Safe throughout her younger years.
At the Age of 14 years old Virginia met the love of her life Ronald Eugene Phillips, they married in 1953, and started a family raising three beautiful children Donald Eugene, Richard Daryl, and Velinda Ann Phillips. Virginia and Ronald were inseparable.
Virginia worked at the Local Elementary school as a cafeteria worker for about 10 years, she then retired to finish raising her children. Virginia also devoted her time as a Sunday school teacher at the local Baptist Church. Virginia's faith in the Lord was everlasting throughout her entire life.
Virginia was very loving, caring, funny, compassionate, and a highly dependable wife, mother of three, Aunt, grandmother to seven, great-grandmother to 15, and great-great grandmother to 3.
Virginia had many pass times which she really enjoyed with her family and friends like cooking, baking, canning salsa, peaches, and peach jam, crafting, gardening, sunbathing, and shopping.
Virginia loved going on vacations to her home state, "Oklahoma", to visit family. Virginia also enjoyed Tryke rides to Julian "Apple town", and the desert to see friends with the love of her life.
Virginia is survived by her one sister Pamela Hogatt, two children Richard Phillips & Wife Linda, and Velinda Bradford, Seven grandchildren Zakeri, Melissa, Jawnalee, Michael, Krystle, Angela, and Alicia, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Eugene Phillips.
