Janie Hazel Stamper

We’re thrilled to announce the newest arrival to God’s majestic Kingdom—Mrs. Janie Stamper of Mansfield, Ohio! Janie departed the world below on October 31, 2025, and has now entered her eternal home with the Lord. While the family mourns, they are comforted and blessed with the assurance that they can see Janie again. A repented heart, a surrendered life, and a commitment to follow Jesus is the road that leads to life eternal!

Janie leaves behind three sons and their wives: Ron & Carla Stamper, Kirk & Carla Stamper, and Keith & Kelly Stamper. She is also survived by her brother, Vernon Cole, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless lifelong friends who will cherish her memory.

And now, without further ado—let the celebration begin! What a magnificent scene is unfolding at the pearly gates as Heaven welcomes Janie Cole Stamper, born January 11, 1946, in Grayson, Kentucky, to Arthur and Mona Cole. As a young girl, Janie’s family journeyed north to Ohio, where she spent the rest of her earthly stay serving, loving, and raising a family.

More breaking news! We’re getting reports that a large crowd of saints is gathering near St. Peter and Janie! Her family members are here, cheering, rejoicing, and praising God! We see the Coles, Mabrys, Sagraves, and Stampers. What a joyous occasion! And look, there’s a handsome gentleman in a red shirt, with Elvis-like hair, guitar slung over his shoulder—running down the streets of gold toward this much anticipated reunion. It’s Ron and Janie—together again!

Attention everyone: THE KING IS COMING! HOW MAJESTIC IS YOUR NAME! THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU, LORD! BLESSINGS TO THE LAMB OF GOD AND THE LION OF JUDAH! The heavenly crowd now moves joyfully along the River of Life, escorting Janie toward the Throne. It is now time for her to meet Jesus—face to face.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road where friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Keith Stamper will officiate. Burial and graveside service will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
