Mr. Hunter was born on September 8, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Arvel H. and Vera E. Allen Hunter. He was united in marriage to Carol Bartholomew. He owned and operated his own lab equiment manufacturing company. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; a daughter, Amy Rose; three sons, Jason, Mark and Nathan Hunter; his father, Arvel Hunter, two sisters, Lynda Smith and Marsha Paletsas and a brother, Carl Hunter and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, June 3rd at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1345 Aquarius Avenue, DeLand, Florida from 9 - 9:45 am followed by funeral services at the church at 10 am with Brent Markovitz officiating. Burial will immediately follow services at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
