Audrey Patricia Bridgeman

Audrey Patricia Bridgeman, age 88, of Deltona, Florida died on 3 June, 2015 at her home with family and friends at her bedside. Audrey was born on November 28, 1926 in St Michael, Barbados, the daughter of the late Beresford Als and Dalza (nee Knight) Als.

Audrey was a retired Registered Nurse and Midwife. In her spare time, she was a voracious reader and an enthusiastic dominoes player.

Audrey was a member and fellowship with The Volusia County Baptist Church and later in 2008 became a member of The Volusia International Bible Fellowship.

She is survived by: her son, Alfred Warren Bridgeman (Maureen) and daughter, Janice Lorraine Bridgeman; grandchildren, Jewel, Shana, Jon-Michael, Hans and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Sammy, Aliyah, “Zeke”, Shamarah, Noelle, Nachum and Rachel; numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Wilma Margaret; sons, Andrew Lawson and Hallam Ricardo; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Boodosingh and brother, Harcourt Llewellyn Als.

Viewing of the body of the late Audrey Patricia Bridgeman will take place at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City on Saturday 13 June from 9:00 am to 10:15 am. The funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am. Committal will follow immediately in Deltona Memorial Mausoleum.
