Brian and I served together in Korea.  He was a friend and and an encouraging person.  I especially remember, he and I and Ozzie going Christmas caroling with the local Korean people, Christmas Eve, 1986.

My prayers go out to his family for their loss. He will be missed by all. Brian was a great person to be around.

We had the pleasure of working at Eglin Air Force Base with Brian in the early 1990's.  Brian was loving, hilarious, and forgiving of others.  He was one of my favorite friends.   He told us he became a social worker/therapist because of us.  We became better people because of him.  We love you BKL.  And we will see you again

I am so sad to just learn of Brian's passing.  He was a good friend to my brother and our family for more than 20 years. He was a kind soul with a big heart. Brian will be missed.

25 years ago when I was a little girl I had the privilege of having Brian as a step dad. He was so much fun and a sweet and generous person. I hope he has found my mom again in heaven. Rest in Peace.

Brian you were a wonderful person to be around. I always remember what a kind and caring man you were. I will miss hearing your voice upon entering Fish Memorial.

You were so kind to me during the short time that we crossed paths when I rotated through Fish as a nursing student--thank you for teaching me, and for making me feel like I was a useful part of the treatment team. People like you remind us why we are in healthcare. Rest in peace, friend.

The heavens are blessed to have Brain come home and be with the Heavenly Father.   It was a pleasure to have known and work with Brian for the past 10 years.

 Brian wasnt just a social worker, or a great conversationalist,or one of the biggest Seminole fans that ever walked the earth. He was a caring, funny, light-hearted gentleman that always greeted you with the most unique of greetings and introductions. His ability to make lemonade from lemons was impeccable and incredible. As a nurse, I will miss him, as a fellow human being, I will remember him.

My deepest sympathy to the Lord family.  Brian was a kindred spirit that touched the lives of many.  Rest in peace sweet soul.

We spent many an afternoon at the same table, my go to guy with information on our ill or injured friends. Good conversations (glad it wasn't always football) Rest in Peace my friend.

Brain always greeted me with a smile. He was a ray of sunshine at Fish Hospital. We already feel a void from his passing here. I will always remember his shining smile and calm attitude towards work. He was never stressed!

Brian was a great son and wonderful brother.  He will be missed by all.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Brian Lord.  He was truly an extraordinary and thoughtful human being. He worked tirelessly for the welfare of others and always went the extra step. Without a doubt, Brian will be missed for the sunshine and smiles he continuously gave to others.  I pray for his peace and easy transition through to his next journey.

Brian was the kind of person that made you want to be a better person. He had a way of brightening up any situation with his hearty laugh and sunny personality. Every morning he would say "It's a beautiful day at Fish Memorial!" Brian and I developed a unique friendship when we discovered each of us had a parent living at OCNR. We made a pact to visit (check on) the other parent whenever we were there. It gave me a sense of peace knowing someone else was watching out for dad and I enjoyed visiting with his mother, Kathryn as well. Brian and I also enjoyed a good old fashioned Florida rivalry.....Gators vs Seminoles. This picture was taken after last year's game. Losing our annual bet....he wore these gator buttons the entire day! I am so thankful I had the opportunity to know him.  He was one of those people that leaves footprints on your heart. Brian you will be truly missed and I will always remember your big heart and incredible spirit.

Brian always answered the phone saying "it's a beautiful day at fish memorial" and when you saw him face to face he would greet me and say it's the lovely Debbie from Woodland Terrace. Brian you will be missed. But Monday it was a beautiful day in heaven !!!!

I'll remember you, Brian, as smiling, happy, ready to help anyone, someone trying to lose weight but who brought two dozen doughnuts to a meeting (although you didn't eat any!).  I'll miss your happy face and smiling greeting.  My sympathies to the family.  We have lost someone truly special.

Brian was always ready with a cheerful word and would brighten the gloomiest situation.  Every time I think of him I smile and chuckle at the memories.  I'm sure he's now keeping the angels entertained. He is loved and missed.
