Mr. Petersen was born on September 18, 1915 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Peter L. and Bertha Brokofski Petersen. He was employed as a draftsman in sheet metal fabrication for many years prior to his retirement
He is survived by a son, Bobby (Karen) Petersen; a daughter, Joy (Bill) Brennan; nine grandchildren, Gregory, Julianna, Bethany, Victoria, Judith Ann, Anthony, Frankie, Cheryl and Robert; and twelve great-grandchildren.
