

Deltona, FL, age 84, died on July 13, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife, Jackie. Bud is survived by 4 children, Ricky (Terry) Lowe, David (Wendy) Lowe, Pamela Lowe and Mark Lowe; 2 step-children, Guy Bee and Mindy Bee; 6 grandchildren, Ricky Jr., Jamie (Bonnie), Eric (Sky), Tim (Lacey), Colton and Josh; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Bernie, Roger, Mike, Andy and Ron; 2 sisters, Ginger and Mariam; several nieces and nephews. Bud served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He had a 75 acre farm, where he had the Central Square Snowmobile Club, owned and operated Hilco Construction Company and was former president of the Chamber of Commerce, all of Central Square, NY. He also built golf courses for the Chapman Construction Company of Syracuse, NY. After moving to Florida, he was owner and operator of Rainbow Gardens Nursery and Landscaping in Maitland and 5 restaurants, Mindy's in Sanford, Big Apple Deli in Deltona, Hermies of Deltona, Hermies Bar & Grill of Deltona and Hermies on the River at Holly Bluff Marina in DeLand. Bud loved to make people happy and enjoyed singing and being with his family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19th at 10 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City.
