

Jack Foster Carson, Sr., beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, in Orange City, Florida. He was 81 years old. Born in Oakmount, Pennsylvania, Jack lived a life full of love, service, and dedication.
A proud veteran, Jack served in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of honor and commitment. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, where he not only excelled academically but also made his mark as the quarterback of the university's football team.
Jack was married to the love of his life, Judith Ardell Carson, for 56 wonderful years until her passing in 2023. Together, they built a beautiful family that included two sons, Jack Carson, Jr. (Stacy) of Orange City, Florida, and Christopher Carson of Nashville, Tennessee. He cherished his role as a grandfather to three grandsons: Brenden and Devin Carson of Orange City, Florida, and Alvin Carson of Nashville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his brother, Jeff Carson, and sister-in-laws, Jean Ellen Voetberg and Eleanor Carson. Jack was preceded in death by his siblings Jane and Harry.
For many years, Jack owned and operated his own business, Jack F Enterprises, where he demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit. He was passionate about the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh football, and he took immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, sharing his love for sports and life lessons with them.
Committal services with military honors for Jack will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
Jack Foster Carson, Sr. will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
